1. Product Overview

Araldite® CY 230-1 with Aradur® HY 951 is a low-viscosity, unfilled epoxy casting resin system that cures at room temperature. The resin is modified with a plasticizer, while the hardener is a low-viscosity aliphatic amine. The system provides excellent electrical insulation, good mechanical strength, and resistance to atmospheric and chemical degradation. It allows a high level of filler addition and is suitable for general-purpose casting or potting applications requiring reliability and durability.


2. Applications

Designed for encapsulation and potting of low-voltage electrical and electronic components, this system is used in casting and vacuum casting processes. It is particularly suitable for small to medium-sized castings, connectors, sensors, and other electrical insulation parts that need stable mechanical and electrical performance under environmental stress.
