ARALDITE® FST 40002/40006 are high-performance, liquid casting resin systems formulated for direct liquid processes. They combine excellent mechanical performance with enhanced fire resistance, low exotherm, and short demolding times. The systems are filler-free and low viscosity (<50 mPa·s at 60°C), allowing efficient processing and production of complex composite parts.
Designed for aerospace interior applications, including both structural monolithic and sandwich parts. Processing methods include infusion, pultrusion, and resin transfer molding (RTM). They meet FST (Flame, Smoke, Toxicity) and heat release requirements per FAR 25.853 / ABD 0031, making them suitable for visible and non-visible aircraft interior components.
