1. Product Overview

ARALDITE® AY 103 combined with HARDENER HY 956 is a two-component, medium-viscosity epoxy adhesive. It is solvent-free, chemically resistant, electrically insulating, and delivers excellent mechanical strength. The system is suitable for forming durable bonds on a variety of substrates including metals, ceramics, glass, plastics, and rubber. Its medium viscosity ensures easy application while maintaining strong adhesion.


2. Applications

  • Insulation Materials

  • Compatible Substrates & Surfaces: Ceramic, Glass, Metal, Plastics, Rubber

  • Can be applied manually or robotically to pre-treated, dry surfaces.

  • Recommended adhesive layer: 0.05–0.10 mm for optimal lap shear strength.

  • Joint components should be assembled immediately after adhesive application.
