1. Product Overview

ARALDITE® AY 133 combined with HARDENER HY 133 is a two-component, solvent-free, room-temperature curing epoxy liquid adhesive. It is especially suited for bonding new concrete to old concrete and can also bond a wide range of substrates such as metals, ceramics, and concrete. It features excellent flow, low viscosity, good penetration, low shrinkage, chemical resistance, and waterproofing.


2. Applications

  • Application Areas: Construction applications, construction joints

  • Compatible Substrates & Surfaces: Concrete, Ceramic, Metal

  • Application Method: Spatula / manual mixing

  • Surfaces should be dried and cleaned of loose particles, oil, and grease.

  • Mix resin and hardener thoroughly in a 100:40 weight ratio.

  • Curing:

    • Minimum curing time at 25°C: ~2 days (80% LSS)

    • Full cure time at 25°C: ~7 days (ultimate LSS)

Storage: Store in sealed containers at 18–25°C; shelf life 2 years. Handle with gloves and eye protection; ensure good ventilation. Avoid skin contact with uncured material.
