1. Product Overview

ARALDITE® 2054-40 A/B is a two-part (2K), toughened methacrylate structural adhesive designed for high-performance bonding. It features a long open time of 40 minutes, high elongation at break (>30%), and excellent resistance to aging, weathering, and temperatures up to 100°C. It is suitable for bonding metals, composites, and plastics, with minimal substrate pre-treatment required. The adhesive is fast-curing, toughened, and incorporates 0.25–0.3 mm spacer beads to maintain uniform joint thickness, making it ideal for transportation and industrial applications.
