1. Product Overview

PERMABOND® 920 is the original allyl cyanoacrylate adhesive. It is a single-part, low-viscosity liquid that cures rapidly at room temperature when pressed into a thin film. Fixture strength is achieved within 10 seconds on most substrates, with full cure in 24 hours.

Key features include:

  • Rapid development of high strength

  • Ease of use (no mixing or heat cure required)

  • Bonds a wide range of materials (metals, plastics, rubber)

  • 100% reactive, solvent-free

  • Specially designed for high-temperature resistance up to 250°C when post-cured

Approved to MIL-A-46050C Type V Class 2.

2. Applications

  • Bonding steel, aluminum, zinc, and other metals

  • Bonding plastics such as ABS, PVC, PC, and phenolic

  • Bonding rubbers (e.g., Buna N)

  • High-temperature environments (e.g., paint baking, wave soldering)

  • General industrial assembly requiring fast cure and high strength
