1. Product Overview

RTV615, RTV655, and RTV656 are two-component, clear liquid silicone rubber compounds that cure at room temperature to form high-strength silicone elastomers. Supplied in matched 10:1 kits by weight, they differ in low-temperature flexibility, with RTV655 and RTV656 remaining flexible down to -115°C (-175°F). These low-viscosity compounds are easily pourable and suitable for potting, encapsulation, and protection of electronic components and assemblies against shock, vibration, moisture, ozone, dust, and chemicals. Their optical clarity allows visual inspection, making them ideal for applications such as solar cell potting or electronics where component identification is important.
