LOCTITE® ECI 8120 is a black, carbon-filled thermoplastic conductive ink formulated as a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) system. It enables the production of low-voltage (<50 V) self-regulating heating elements that maintain a stable temperature of around 105°C without external control. The ink is screen printable, flexible, and compatible with common substrates like PET, PEN, and PI, as well as with silver inks such as LOCTITE® ECI 1010. Its high PTC ratio ensures precise cut-off temperature and reliable safety in printed heating applications.
