1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® ECI 8001 is a carbon-filled thermoplastic positive temperature coefficient (PTC) ink developed for low-voltage (<50 V) self-regulating heating elements. Delivered as a black paste, it is screen printable, flexible, and suitable for PET, PEN, and PI substrates. With a self-regulating temperature of about 60°C and a PTC ratio above 8, the ink enables rapid heating and precise cut-off without external control. It is compatible with silver ink LOCTITE® ECI 1010 and can be blended with LOCTITE® NCI 8002 to fine-tune resistance, making it versatile for controlled heating designs.
