1. Product Overview

TEROSON® RB 3216 is a one-component, heat-curing antiflutter adhesive and sealant based on rubber technology. It is solvent-free, has high viscosity with excellent sag resistance, and is resistant to wash-off from aqueous cleaning and pretreatment without pregelling or precure. The adhesive bonds well to oily steel sheets, aluminum, and zinc-coated surfaces. Once cured, it remains flexible, offers good compatibility with E-coat paints for reliable corrosion protection, and can be painted.


2. Applications

This product is specially designed for antiflutter bonding in automotive body shops, particularly for stiff structures like engine hoods and trunk lids. It is recommended in situations requiring wash-off resistance without precuring, long-term elasticity, and stable performance across a wide service temperature range.
