TEROSON® RB 3233 is a heat-curing, solvent-free antiflutter adhesive based on rubber. It is a one-component system with high viscosity, giving excellent sag resistance and strong wash-off resistance without requiring pregelling or precuring. The product adheres effectively to oily steel sheets, aluminum, and zinc-coated surfaces, and remains flexible with minimal dependence on temperature variations. Curing occurs at temperatures above 140 °C, and once cured, it ensures good corrosion protection due to compatibility with E-coat paints. It can also be painted after curing.
TEROSON® RB 3233 is specially designed for automotive body shop applications, where strong antiflutter performance and elasticity are required. It is commonly used to bond and stiffen parts like engine hoods and trunk lids, while also providing wash-off resistance during cleaning and pretreatment processes. It is recommended in cases where long-term flexibility and temperature stability are essential without the need for precuring.
