1. Product Overview

3M™ Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 27 is a 7-mil woven insulating tape with a pressure-sensitive rubber thermosetting adhesive. Designed for 600 V dry applications, it provides high mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and excellent high-temperature performance. The adhesive offers corrosion protection, and the tape is edge-tear resistant, conformable, and printable. It is suitable for coil covering, anchoring, banding, and as core, layer, or crossover insulation in electrical assemblies.
