1. Product Overview

Araldite® 2019 is a two-component, thixotropic epoxy adhesive paste characterized by high strength, resilience, and toughness. Designed for structural bonding, it provides superior performance on composites, especially CFRP, while also bonding metals, ceramics, and thermoplastics. The adhesive contains spacers to ensure a minimum bond line of 0.05 mm and achieves its best performance when post-cured at elevated temperatures.


2. Applications

  • Structural bonding of CFRP composites (primary target).

  • Adhesion to a wide variety of metals (aluminium, steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, copper, brass).

  • Bonding of engineering plastics (ABS, PA, PC, PMMA, PVC, SMC).

  • Suitable for industrial and professional assembly requiring high lap shear, heat resistance, and durability.

  • Long-term use in applications exposed to heat, chemicals, and weathering.
