Araldite® 2021-1 is a two-component, toughened methacrylate structural adhesive.
Key properties: rapid curing, toughened, multipurpose, bonds plastics, composites, and metals, serviceable up to 100°C.
Mix ratio: 1:1 by weight or volume.
Supplied in cartridges with static mixers for ease of use.
Not suitable for copper, brass, or copper alloys (Araldite® 2022-1 or 2047-1 recommended instead).
General-purpose structural bonding in industries requiring fast assembly.
Bonds well to aluminium, steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, and many plastics (ABS, PVC, PMMA, PC, GRP, SMC, CFRP).
Delivers durable joints with resistance to humidity, fuels, oils, solvents, and weathering.
Typical layer thickness: 0.25–0.5 mm (higher for certain metals).
