1. Product Overview

Araldite® 2031-1 is a black, two-component, room-temperature curing epoxy paste adhesive. It is thixotropic and non-slumping up to 10 mm thickness. The system is toughened, resilient, and highly weather-resistant, with integrated spacers ensuring a minimum bond line of 0.05 mm. It is designed to provide durable bonding performance on metals, composites, and engineering plastics.


2. Applications

  • Bonding of metals (aluminium, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, galvanised steel).

  • Bonding of composites (GRP, CFRP, SMC).

  • Adhesion to engineering plastics (ABS, PA, PC, PMMA, PVC).

  • Structural applications requiring toughness, peel resistance, and weathering stability.

  • Suitable for both manual application and bulk processing with metering/mixing equipment.
