1. Product Overview
Araldite® AY 103-1 with Hardener HY 991 is a low-viscosity, two-component epoxy adhesive system. It cures at room temperature, is transparent with high strength, solvent-free, and designed for easy application over large areas. The cured adhesive offers good heat resistance (up to ~50 °C) and strong adhesion to metals, plastics, ceramics, glass, and rubber.

2. Applications

  • Multipurpose structural bonding of metals, ceramics, glass, rigid plastics, rubbers, and composites.

  • Suitable for large-area bonding due to low viscosity and easy application.

  • Widely used in industries requiring transparent, strong bonds with reliable performance at moderate temperatures.
