1. Product Overview

Araldite® AY 103-1 / Hardener HY 991 is a low-viscosity, two-component epoxy adhesive system. It cures at room temperature, is transparent, and provides high-strength bonding. The system is solvent-free, easy to apply over large areas, and offers heat resistance up to ~50°C.


2. Applications

  • Multipurpose adhesive for bonding a wide range of substrates: metals, ceramics, glass, rubbers, rigid plastics, and composites.

  • Particularly effective and easy to use over large bonding areas.

  • Suitable for structural adhesives applications requiring durable joints.
