1. Product Overview

Araldite® CW 2122-1 resin with Aradur® HY 2901-2 hardener is a filled epoxy casting system formulated for high-temperature processing. It demonstrates good impregnating capability, excellent dielectric strength, reliable thermal shock resistance, and stable mechanical performance. Classified as thermal class F, the system provides strong thermal ageing stability and consistent insulation for demanding electrical components.

2. Applications

The system is particularly suited for pressure-sensitive components such as high-performance electrical insulation parts. It is applied in casting and vacuum casting processes, offering both processing reliability and long-term functional stability.

3. Typical Properties

This casting system provides stable viscosity, controlled pot life, and effective curing behavior. After curing, it achieves good dielectric insulation, resilience against thermal shock, and a balanced combination of mechanical and thermal properties. Its class F thermal rating, low water absorption, and resistance to tracking make it a durable choice for electrical insulation.
