1. Product Overview

ARALDITE® CW 229 / ARADUR® HW 229-1 is a heat-curing, two-component liquid epoxy casting system with mechanically reinforcing fillers. It produces a resilient polymer with excellent mechanical, electrical, and thermal endurance properties, capable of withstanding thermal cycling and continuous use up to 200°C. The system is ideal for manufacturing medium- and high-voltage electrically insulating components, including SF6-insulated equipment, and is compatible with conventional casting, vacuum casting, and APG processes.
