1. Product Overview

Araldite® LY 3569, in combination with Aradur® 1571, Accelerator 1573, and Aradur® 1575, forms a medium-glass-transition-temperature (Tg) B-stage epoxy system designed for Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) applications. This system is optimized for the production of Body-in-White (BiW) automotive parts, offering a balance between processing efficiency and mechanical performance. The system is free from volatile organic compounds (VOC) and is suitable for compounding on large-sized SMC rolls. The resulting SMC retains excellent drapability for up to 6 weeks at 23°C, accommodating a wide range of part thicknesses.

  • Manufacturing Body-in-White (BiW) automotive parts.
