1. Product Overview

Araldite® LY 3585 is a high-reactivity, clear liquid epoxy resin developed by Huntsman Advanced Materials. It is designed for use in composite manufacturing processes, offering excellent mechanical properties and rapid curing times. When combined with Aradur® 3475, a low-viscosity amine hardener, it forms a fast-cure system ideal for automotive composite applications. This system is particularly suitable for Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) and Wet Compression Molding (WCM) processes.

The Araldite® LY 3585 / Aradur® 3475 system is primarily used in:

  • Automotive composite parts manufacturing.

  • Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) processes.
