1. Product Overview

Araldite® LY 8615, combined with Aradur® 8615, forms a high-performance epoxy resin system designed for demanding composite applications. This system is characterized by its low viscosity and exceptional thermal properties, making it particularly suitable for processes such as Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), Vacuum-Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM), and Seeman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP). Composites produced with this system can achieve a glass transition temperature exceeding 180°C following appropriate post-curing.

2. Applications

The Araldite® LY 8615 / Aradur® 8615 system is primarily used in:

  • Resin Transfer Molding (RTM)

  • Vacuum-Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM)

  • Seeman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP)

  • Wet Lay-Up

  • Filament Winding
