1. Product Overview

Arathane® CW 5631 (polyol with mineral filler) and Arathane® HY 5611-1 (isocyanate) form a two-component polyurethane casting and impregnating system. It is classified as Thermal Class F (155°C) and cures at room temperature or accelerated at 80°C. The system provides excellent thermal endurance, flow properties, thermal conductivity, chemical resistance, and thermal shock stability. It is non-abrasive and meets UL 94 V-0 flammability (6 mm).


2. Applications

  • Electrical insulation for transformers, filters, capacitors, and other electrical devices.

  • Suitable for casting and impregnating in both manual and automated processing.

  • Designed for electrical equipment operating in potentially explosive environments.
