1. Product Overview

Arathane® VB U 6942 (Polyol) with Arathane® VB U 001/B (Isocyanate) is a halogen-free, polyurethane casting and impregnating system designed for room temperature curing. It is a soft multipurpose polyurethane system suitable for pressure-sensitive devices and is available in various colors (beige, black, grey). The system provides good thermal shock resistance and achieves UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.

  • Encapsulation / casting of transformers

  • Impregnation of filters

  • Encapsulation of capacitors

  • Other electrical and electronic devices requiring a soft, halogen-free polyurethane system

Processing methods: Manual or automatic casting/impregnating with mixing and dosing equipment.
