Chemlok® 6125 is a black liquid covercoat adhesive designed for bonding a wide variety of elastomers to metals. It is based on polymers, organic compounds, and mineral fillers dispersed in organic solvents. The adhesive provides excellent heat resistance and strong durability against water, salt spray, chemicals, oils, solvents, and corrosive atmospheres. When combined with Chemlok® 205 primer, it ensures superior adhesion and environmental resistance.
Bonding elastomers such as NR, IR, SBR, CR, and NBR to metals.
Used in automotive, industrial, and mechanical components requiring durable rubber-to-metal bonding.
Suitable for brush, dip, spray, or roll-coat application methods.
Recommended for environments where heat, oil, and chemical resistance are critical.
