Chemosil® 512 is a one-coat adhesive formulated for bonding fluoroelastomers to metal and various substrates during vulcanization. It is composed of dissolved silicone compounds in a solvent system. The product offers strong adhesion, excellent resistance to temperature and media, and can be applied by brush, spray, or dip.
Designed for bonding fluoroelastomers (FKM), including conventional and peroxide cross-linking types.
Applied in rubber-to-metal bonding processes during vulcanization at 170–180°C.
Suitable for industrial applications requiring durability in harsh environments.
Recommended for use with properly prepared metal surfaces, ensuring removal of oils, oxides, and rust before application.
