1. Product Overview

Dobeckan® FN 3400 LV is a single-component, low-viscosity impregnating resin based on unsaturated polyester with DAP (diallyl phthalate) reactive thinner. It is designed for electrical insulation systems, offering high winding penetration, minimal drain losses, and excellent long-term thermal stability. The cured resin is tough, mechanically strong, and resistant to chemicals and vapors. Thermal class is H (180 °C), UL approved.


2. Applications

  • Impregnation of small, medium, and large motors (up to sizes 180–190), particularly under reciprocating operation

  • Use in transformers and electrical machines requiring thermal class H

  • Suitable for dipping, dip-rolling, and vacuum processes for compact windings and bandaged components
