Dow Corning® 4 Electrical Insulating Compound is a grease-like, silicone-based insulating material formulated with an inert silica filler and polydimethylsiloxane fluids. It provides excellent dielectric strength, low volatility, strong moisture resistance, and chemical stability across a broad temperature range. The compound adheres well to metals, ceramics, rubbers, plastics, and resins, while maintaining its consistency from –55 °C to +200 °C. It meets SAE AS 8660 requirements and offers long-term stability with up to 60 months shelf life.

Spark plug connections, electrical junctions, terminals, and assemblies.
Seal and lubricant for cable connectors, battery terminals, O-rings, switches, rubber seals.
