DOWSIL™ OS-10, OS-20, and OS-30 Fluids are high-purity, ozone-safe, and non-VOC methyl polysiloxanes designed as environmentally responsible alternatives to traditional solvents. They are clear, colorless, odorless, low in toxicity, and compatible with most plastics and coatings. These fluids fully evaporate at room temperature, leaving no residue, which allows subsequent coating, painting, or bonding. Their non-smog forming nature and negligible global warming contribution make them suitable for sustainable industrial use.

The OS series demonstrates varied volatility, flammability, and drying rates to suit different industrial needs. OS-10 offers the fastest evaporation but is highly flammable, OS-20 balances volatility with safer handling, while OS-30 provides the slowest drying with a higher flash point, making it less flammable. All three exhibit low viscosity, low surface tension, and excellent spreading ability. Their mild cleaning action preserves sensitive substrates, and they degrade in the atmosphere into non-harmful byproducts. Storage stability ranges from four to five years under controlled conditions, ensuring reliable long-term use.
