Elan-tron MC 4245 (FR) IN with Hardener 46 is a room temperature curing, filled, flexible, and flame-retardant epoxy system designed for potting applications. Supplied pre-filled with dried inorganic fillers and vacuum degassed, it ensures pore- and void-free encapsulation. The cured material offers high flexibility, low shrinkage, excellent adhesion, resistance to water and chemicals, and superior crack resistance. Its thermal conductivity and flame-retardant rating (UL 94 V0) make it highly reliable for electrical and electronic applications.
This system is ideal for potting, sealing, and casing small to medium-sized electrical and electronic components. Typical applications include LED driver assemblies, automotive electrical and electronic modules, and PCB assemblies requiring thermal shock resistance, mechanical protection, and electrical insulation.
