1. Product Overview

Elan-tron® PU 4110, combined with hardener PH 4900 (or PH 4920), forms a highly elastic, rubber-like polyurethane casting compound. It provides exceptional cold flexibility down to –50°C, strong adhesion, low shrinkage, and durable dielectric properties. The material withstands continuous operating temperatures up to 150°C (Thermal Index) while maintaining elasticity. It also shows high chemical resistance in moist, alkaline, or acidic environments, making it suitable for demanding outdoor or hazardous applications.


2. Applications

  • Encapsulation of pressure-sensitive components in outdoor and explosion-protected environments.

  • Devices requiring operation between –50°C to +150°C.

  • Electrical and electronic parts exposed to vibration, extreme cold, or chemically aggressive conditions (e.g., silos).
