Elan-tron® PU 4284 TX is a thixotropic, filled polyurethane resin that, when combined with the hardener Elan-tron® PH 4900 (mix ratio 100:14 by weight), cures to a soft-elastic potting compound. Its structural viscosity allows thick-layer application, while the cured material provides vibration damping, good electrical insulation, and stable mechanical behavior. The system is suitable for manual or automated processing and can be cured at room temperature or accelerated with heat.

Ideal for medium-power network transformers.
Thick-layer encapsulation where elasticity and thermal management are required.
