Fine-L-Kote® SR is a silicone-based conformal coating that provides universal protection for PCBs and electronic assemblies against harsh environments.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • UL recognized (UL746E, File #E475454) and UL 94 V0 flame rated.

  • Thermal resistance: up to 200°C (392°F).

  • Dielectric strength: 1 kV/mil.

  • Resistant to moisture, chemicals, and vibration.

  • Flexible, reworkable, and qualified to IPC-CC-830B.

  • Available in aerosol, pint, and gallon packaging.

  • Shelf life: 1 year.


2. Applications

  • Protection of PCBs and electronic components in demanding environments.

  • Methods of application:

    • Dip coating (excellent for high volume).

    • Selective spray system (computer controlled, precise edge definition).

    • Manual aerosol/brushing (small production runs, rework, repair).

  • Suitable for assemblies requiring moisture/chemical/vibration resistance and long-term reliability.

  • Reworkable: coating can be soldered through or removed with Conformal Coating Remover (2510).
