EV Protect 4006-A SFR / 4006-B SFR is a two-component, low-density, flame retardant polyurethane foam designed for potting and encapsulation of EV battery cells, as well as other applications requiring lightweight, flame-retardant materials. It features low odor, non-corrosive behavior, low viscosity for good flow, long cream time for leveling, and good impact resistance. The product conforms to UL94 V0 (vertical burn) and HBF (horizontal burn) flammability ratings.
Recommended uses include:
Potting and encapsulation of battery cells in EV battery modules
Other potting applications where low density and flame retardancy are required
