LOCTITE® 577™ is a high-viscosity, thixotropic, anaerobic thread sealant designed for locking and sealing metal threaded pipes and fittings. It is effective on active metals (e.g., brass, copper) and passive substrates (e.g., stainless steel, plated surfaces) without requiring surface activation. The product provides excellent resistance to shock, vibration, and minor surface contamination from oils.
