1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® 641 is a medium-strength, anaerobic acrylic adhesive designed for bonding cylindrical fitting parts, especially where disassembly is needed for servicing. It cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration.

2. Applications

  • Retention of bearings onto shafts and housings
  • Suitable for slip-fitted, press-fitted, and shrink-fitted assemblies
  • Works on steel, aluminum, and zinc dichromate substrates
