1. Product Overview

LOCTITE ABLESTIK EMI 8880S is a silver-filled, sprayable adhesive and coating designed for advanced EMI (electromagnetic interference) shielding at the semiconductor package level. It uses silver sintering technology to achieve high electrical and thermal conductivity while maintaining excellent adhesion on mold compounds, epoxy, copper, gold, and silver surfaces. The material supports extremely thin, uniform coatings down to micrometer thickness, ensuring effective shielding performance for sensitive electronic devices. With a long work life and robust reliability under thermal stress, it is suitable for high-frequency and miniaturized electronic applications.
