1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® LB 8023™ (also known as LOCTITE® Marine Grade Anti-Seize™) is a calcium sulfonate–based, non-curing anti-seize paste. With its smooth, dark gray to black consistency, the product delivers excellent lubricity, outstanding water spray/washout resistance, and strong protection against galvanic corrosion. It is engineered for long-term performance in extreme marine and industrial conditions. Its operating temperature range spans from -29 °C up to +1315 °C.

  • Bolts, screws, studs, nuts, shafts, splines, bushings, pipe joints.

  • Chains, cables, and water pump gaskets/flanges.

  • Marine environments with saltwater and high humidity exposure.

  • Industrial applications in pulp/paper mills and wastewater treatment plants.

  • Prevents galling, seizing, and corrosion during assembly/disassembly.
