1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® SF 7200™ is a solvent-based cleaner designed to aid in the removal of cured chemical gaskets. It softens gasket material on metal flanges, eliminating excessive scraping and reducing the risk of surface damage. The product forms a foam-like layer to prevent running and enhance effectiveness.

2. Applications

  • Removal of all types of chemical gaskets from metal flanges
  • Especially suitable for aluminum and other soft metal flanges
  • Can assist in removing adhesives, baked-on grease or oil, carbon deposits, dried oils, paint, varnish, etc.
  • Intended mainly for metal components (not recommended for plastics)
