1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® SI 5089™ is a one-component alkoxy silicone sealant that cures using UV light and atmospheric moisture. It forms a durable, flexible rubber suitable for gasketing and sealing applications. The product has a medium, thixotropic viscosity, ensuring minimal migration after application.

2. Applications

  • Designed for gasketing and sealing enclosures requiring a rapid-curing, post-applied sealant.
  • Used where immediate on-part inspection is needed after UV curing.
  • Suitable for surfaces exposed to moisture and UV light for dual curing.
