LOCTITE® SI 5140™ is a one-component, non-corrosive alkoxy silicone adhesive/sealant. It cures at room temperature through moisture exposure (RTV) and provides a translucent milky white finish. The material is self-leveling, flexible, and enhances shock absorption while maintaining strong adhesion in harsh environments. Resistant to weathering, ozone, and moisture, it performs reliably up to 200 °C and meets MIL-A-46146B requirements.
Designed for sealing, coating, and potting, it is used in automotive, electronic, military, and industrial components. It ensures uniform cavity filling, electrical insulation, and mechanical stability in demanding conditions such as vibration, high temperature, and moisture exposure.
