1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® SI 5248™ is a one-component alkoxy silicone sealant with thixotropic properties that reduce migration after application. It is initially cured by ultraviolet (UV) light and has a secondary moisture cure for shadowed areas. The product provides flexibility for load-bearing and shock-absorbing applications. Biocompatibility testing according to ISO 10993 standards makes it suitable for certain medical device applications.
