LOCTITE® UK 2073 / 2173 is a solvent-free, elastic two-component polyurethane adhesive/sealant. It is mixed at a 2:1 volume ratio and cures at room temperature with fast cohesion build-up and extended open time. Specifically developed for bonding low-surface-energy plastics, it delivers durable adhesion, high elongation, and resistance to environmental stress.
Primarily used in the automotive industry, this adhesive is suited for elastic bonding of lightweight plastic parts, including spoilers, bumpers, dashboards, trim components, roof systems, tailgates, and luggage racks. Its versatility allows secure joining of PP Talc, PP LGF, PC/ABS, PC/PET, and e-coated steel substrates.
