LOCTITE® UK 3173 (polyurethane resin) is designed for combination with LOCTITE® UK 3182 (polyurethane hardener) to produce a low-shrinkage, low-exotherm potting compound. The system cures at room temperature or with accelerated heat and provides balanced electrical insulation, good hardness, and stable mechanical properties.
This system is mainly applied in potting, encapsulation, and protective coating of sensitive components. It is suitable for use in electronic, electrical, and industrial devices where dimensional stability, insulation, and resistance to environmental stress are critical.
