The Metcal CV-510 ConnectionValidation™ Soldering System is a compact, economical companion to the CV-5210, integrating patented IMC formation monitoring into a streamlined design. Powered by SmartHeat® technology, it features a 2.8” color touchscreen, an integrated net power meter, and precise tip temperature display. With backward-compatible cartridges, USB connectivity for firmware updates, and password-protected settings, the CV-510 provides exceptional process control and real-time operator feedback via an LED light ring in the hand-piece.

Optimized for SMD touch-up and small component rework, the CV-510 is particularly effective in high-density PCB assemblies, fine-pitch soldering, and precision repairs. Its compatibility with Ultrafine, Precision Tweezer, Desolder, and Solder Wire Feeder hand-pieces expands its capability into complete rework operations, including plated through-hole desoldering and component removal.
