  1. Product Overview
    MOLYKOTE® 4 Electrical Insulating Compound is a silicone-based semi-flowable material offering excellent dielectric strength and electrical insulation. It adheres well to metals, elastomers, polymers, and ceramics, while resisting moisture and oxidation. It performs effectively across a wide service temperature range of -54°C to 200°C. Certified to NSF 51/61, Kosher, Halal, and tested to AMS8660 standards, the compound is also free from PTFE and PFAS additives.
  2. Applications
    The compound is widely used as a lubricant and sealant in cable connectors, battery terminals, O-rings, seals, and assemblies involving metal-to-polymer or metal-to-rubber interfaces. It provides moisture-proof sealing for industrial and transport applications, including ignition systems, electrical connectors, disconnect junctions, and terminals, especially where semi-flowable materials are required.
