RTV133 is a one-component, black, ready-to-use silicone rubber adhesive sealant designed for applications in electronics, aerospace, appliances, transportation, and other industries where fire resistance is critical. It cures at room temperature upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, forming a tough, durable, and resilient silicone rubber. The sealant exhibits low odor during curing, releases alcohol vapor instead of acetic acid, and has a thixotropic paste consistency suitable for horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces up to 6 mm thick. It offers excellent electrical insulation, high-temperature resistance, low-temperature flexibility, and weatherability with UL-94 V-0 or V-1 flammability rating.
Industrial applications where reduced flammability of finished products is essential.
Coatings and encapsulation of electronic and integrated circuits, semiconductors, and electronic part assemblies.
Suitable for confined work areas due to low odor cure.
