1. Product Overview

3M™ Scotch® Rubber Splicing Tape 23 is a 30 mil (0.76 mm) premium-grade, highly conformable, self-fusing tape made from ethylene propylene rubber (EPR). It features a non-adhesive, rubber-resin backing and a special polyester liner that prevents sticking during application. Rated for continuous use up to 90 °C, the tape provides void-free, moisture-resistant insulation for low and high-voltage applications up to 69 kV. It is non-vulcanizing, shelf-stable, and ASTM-approved, offering excellent electrical properties and professional-grade performance.
