SHIMOKOTE 9 (…) is a medium-viscosity, pre-filled, liquid epoxy compound designed for casting and potting in the electrical and electronics industry. It is reinforced with pre-dried inorganic fillers and thoroughly de-aired under high vacuum, ensuring a pore- and void-free system. When combined with Hardener 61 (aliphatic polyamine) or Hardener 43 (polyamide amine), the cured system offers low shrinkage, high adhesion, chemical resistance, good machinability, and excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Both formulations are suitable for thermal class 120 (Class E) electrical components.
