1. Product Overview

SYLGARD™ 184 is a two-part, transparent silicone elastomer supplied in a 10:1 mix ratio. It offers good flame resistance, high transparency for easy inspection, and versatile curing options at room temperature or with heat. The material exhibits excellent dielectric properties, rapid cure control via temperature, and flexibility once cured, making it suitable for electrical and electronic encapsulation. The elastomer cures without exotherm, requires no post-cure, and may adhere effectively with or without primer depending on the application.
